Maksym Krippa, a Ukrainian entrepreneur who owns the Maincast esports broadcast studio, will become the new president of the Ukrainian Federation of Esports. He will succeed Ivan Danishevsky.

Along with Krippa, the new board of the federation will include the CEO of NAVI club Yevhen Zolotarev and co-founder of Maincast studio Vitaliy Volochai (v1lat), NAVI head coach Andriy Gorodensky, and others.

To fully launch the Federation’s activities, it is necessary to attract annual investments, the amount of which is estimated at $1.5-2 million. This figure is voiced by experts, however, according to Maksym Krippa, it is too early to talk about the final budgets – the development strategy is still being formed.

According to the businessman, the priorities of future activities will be building a high-quality dialogue with the gaming community, active support of school and student esports leagues, as well as involving veterans in social life through integration into the gaming environment. In addition, the Federation plans to restore the esports infrastructure and increase its accessibility for pupils and students.

According to preliminary estimates, the Federation will need funding in the range of $1.5-2 million annually to fully restart. Official announcements on the new management team and specific investment plans are expected in the near future, after the necessary procedures are completed.
